Pencil chairs

These upcycled vintage school chairs are painted with environmentally friendly chalk paint. I decorated them with hand painted pencils because a pencil is one of the basic tools to support learning. One of the chairs had the obligatory chewing gum stuck to the underside of its seat. It was hard as rock but I got it off with a chisel. The painted surface of each chair is varnished and waxed for extra protection.
Measurements: 50 x 41 x 75cm.
