This linoprint is part of a series inspired by a photo collection of lost buildings of Perth at the Perth Museum and Art Gallery, photographed between the 1880s and 1920s. I felt drawn by the lonely and slightly desolate atmosphere of these black and white photos and have translated it into print through condensing and accentuating.
Original hand-pulled linoprint, black printing ink on paper. Limited edition. Print size 21 x 30cm. Comes with a double mount.
