My latest custom order: a navy blue linen jacket with facings made from recycled fabric, in this case the customer’s old Japanese silk dressing gown in vibrant pink with hand printed pattern. I love this colour contrast!
On the back I’ve sewn on different colour-matched bits of fabric chosen and shaped to go with the silk pattern. Satin stitches in vibrant colours hold the appliqués in place.
