This linoprint is part of a series of prints inspired by the landscape around Machen and the village itself. Machen is located near Caerphilly in the Mid Glamorgan district of South Wales with its many remains of the old coal mining industry. What stands out in Machen is the village church with some intricate wrought iron work in the graveyard, many old gravestones and stately trees on the hill behind.
Original hand-pulled linoprint, black printing ink on paper. Limited edition. Print size 21 x 30cm. Comes with a double mount.
