The name of this jacket highlights the woven pattern of the fabric. I’ve used a vintage curtain in a striking colour, and a pretty tablecloth for facings. The patchwork shows diverse bits of fabric remnants, many of them donated by very busy Covid facemask makers. There’s also some reverse appliqué, where holes cut into the top fabric reveal bits of the fabric layers underneath.
The base garment is a cotton mix, the patchwork applique an array of diverse recycled fabrics, most of them cotton. Two patch pockets, one button.
Available in one size, XL, intended as a loose fit. Garment length 92cm, sleeve length 65cm.
Care instructions: hand wash only, at low temperature. Drip dry or spin briefly at slow speed. Iron on reverse while still slightly damp. Or dry clean.
