Another one of my paintings prepared for Perthshire Open Studios 2016. It is a still life, called Candlelight Dinner. I don’t place items for a still life in front of me when I paint, I remember or invent them and arrange them so that they tell a story. The viewer is invited to find their own stories when looking at the image.
I have work in a group show at St Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral in Dundee. The cathedral celebrates the 150th anniversary of its consecration with numerous events, this art exhibition is one of them.

The Barn Gallery at The Bield houses this year’s Showcase Exhibition for Perthshire Open Studios. It includes work of many of the artists and makers participating in the open studio days. One of my paintings is on display there.
