Platform 2018 event at Frames Gallery, Perth: artists and makers who participate in Perthshire Open Studios are holding an exhibition featuring paintings, photography, work in wood, glass, ceramics. One of my mixed media paintings is on display.

This mixed media drawing was on display at the 10th Anniversary Exhibition of Perthshire Open Studios in Perth Civic Hall. The exhibition was part of the inaugural Platform Festival, a week-long celebration of contemporary art and culture across Perth & Kinross at the end of March 2017.
The drawing was inspired by a friend’s poem about his vision of winter solstice:
“on that day creatures living under rocks crawl to sit on long stems of the moon flower” […]
“all red turns pink takes a breather and returns to green and all shall be well for one second”.
