Perthshire Open Studios 2017

Less than two weeks to go until the start of Perthshire Open Studios 2017! This year I’m going to open my Kettins studio to the public, together with fellow artist Aileen M Stackhouse. Aileen shows work based on her ongoing research project into the history, geology and ecology of the River Ericht. I show recent linoprints and still life paintings together with new drawings and painted recycled furniture.
During the Open Studio days Aileen and I will be doing demonstrations of drawing and linoprinting.

The full programme of Perthshire Open Studios 2017 is listed in the excellent event brochure, available in many shops, museums, libraries, cafés all over Perthshire and Kinross-shire. You can also find it online.

Printmaking: reduction linoprint

At the moment I am developing a new series of reduction linoprints with a more abstract angle. They will feature in my next exhibition in Fortingall in the Scottish Highlands, near Aberfeldy. I am so pleased to have been accepted as one of the participating artists at Fortingall Summer Exhibition 2017.
