Slowly we are re-emerging from our homes and I feel it is safe to re-open my studio and welcome visitors – with face cover and washed hands! For the time being we’ll be open Wednesday 2-4pm. Some of my slow fashion garments are also for sale in my online shop on the Perthshire Artisans website. Browse the other artisans’ shops too!

Mission: circular economy
A while ago my studio was visited by Vaso Makri. Vaso is the manager of Circular Tayside, a project that aims to help local businesses and organisations transition towards circular economy where “waste is given value and re-introduced to the economic system”. Vaso interviewed me about my mission and business goals working with repurposed fabric and invited me to portray my contribution to slow fashion and circular economy on Circular Tayside’s Be Inspired page. Here is the link.
Upcycling fabric
New work: a retro style 3/4 length jacket made from repurposed home decor fabric. The lining fabric is also second-hand. This piece I’m going to wear myself but the model will be part of my studio line.
Christmas market in Dundee
My first winter market this year is Urban Market Dundee at the Keiller Centre on Sat, 16 Nov, 11:00-17:00. In the company of excellent local designers I’ll present my colourful handmade linen garments embellished with repurposed fabric and embroidery – a contribution to slow fashion. Come and join the fun!
